I finally finished.  (((*** Happy Dance ***))).  This particular hat took a little longer to finish due to Christmas, getting orders, and generally being easily sidetracked.  It was worth it though.

The monster hat’ll fit someone with a 5T sized noggin up to a preteen head… that’s roughly a 21-22 inch (53.3-55.9 cm) circumference.  It’s crochet out of acrylic scrap yarn mostly.  They eyeballs and teeth are cotton and sewn on after the crochet work was done.  The inside bottom edges are lined with fleece and the top is left as is, because kids have hot heads.  They need to ventilate.

The hat came about because I had made some monsters and some ladies said you should make those into hats.  That’s about it.  I said okay and a hat was born.  It was a very simple process.  I just made the monster, but bigger.  The I didn’t stuff it or make legs.  The thought process on this was minimal.
